Welcome to The Travelling people! we are a Scottish based folk group who love to play in venues from the smallest folk club to the concert stage. We are quite prepared to admit we are getting on in years. However that adds vintage to our presentation and achieves a performance level and rapport with the audience that eludes many modern bands.

We are indeed a folk group that use folk music as a means of entertainment. As a result our performances are liberally enhanced with jokes, anecdotes and the history of our songs. We look to provide a nights entertainment that all the family can enjoy.
